   Your account, though true, is depressing, indeed! But then, the positive factor is the mention of Hazrat Nizamuddin (ra); getting immersed into the depths of the saints’ world neutralises the ills of urban confusion.

   i do strongly doubt that the accident which killed mrs. amina assilmi might be a conspiracy as her life was a threat for the powers of darkness. allah better knows. let us pray for her bright n lucky after death life…

   Is it possible to have more information (in English) about Abdallah Fadaaq and the recent past of Salman Al-Odah ? By recent past, I mean, what is his actual view about sufism, sufis and mawlid for example.

   I visited Hazrath Nizamuddin auliya with a great sufi shiekh in 2004. It gives me great spiritual pleasure.Nizamuddin auliya was a great scholar in CHISTY tariqah. Some of my friends( who have inner sight) said me that Nizamuddin auliya recieved SHADHILI tariqah from our Shiekh.

    It’s a pity that we live in the land of Hazrat Nizamuddin Aulia (ra), and fail to follow his teachings. How on earth can we aspire to become like him, when we hardly think about him ! It appears as though only those who are “living” in the present age are worthy of emulation, while those saints who have passed away centuries ago need to be forgotten altogether!

    Thanks for the brief information about the life and times of Umar Qazi.You have stressed the poetical aspect,but you have not dwelt on the inner life of this Sufi. You need to shed more light on the latter, which will be highly appreciated.

    The question is not whether Sufism is true or not! What is important is whether the way being followed conforms to the way of the Holy Prophet (saw) and the Sahaba(ru).

    salam

    a good effort indeed. i am studying javed nama by allama iqbal and doing some research. in javed nama, allama in his spirtual journey across planets meet Qurrat al-Ain Tahira, Mansoor Alhaaj and Mirza Ghalib.

    I am trying to understand who was Qurrat al-Ain Tahira. Is she the actress who converted to bahai faith?

    Also Javed Naama mentions ‘the appearance of sudani dervish’ who is referred as Mehdi. Doing some search, I can see Muhammad Ahmad from Sudan who began a struggle in Sudan (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muhammad_Ahmad) and proclaimed hismelf Mehdi.

    Since Wikipedia is not all correct at times, i will like to know whether you know anything about Allama Iqbal’s reference of these 2 personalities.

    The ideas and the thought of Shaykh Ali Mian (ra) remained incredible. He has perfectly point out the problem Muslim Society and Country have to face. May Allah reward him for his efforts and May Allah help us to understand what Shaykh wanted to say us and wanted us to do to change the situation.

    മുസ്ലിം സമുദായം എക്കാലത്തും നിരവധി വെല്ലുവിളികള്‍ നേരിട്ടുകൊണ്ടാണ്‌ മുന്നോട്ടു പോകുന്നത്‌, ഇക്കാലത്ത്‌ പ്രത്യേകിച്ചും. അവയെയെല്ലാം അതിജീവിക്കണമെങ്കില്‍ സമൂഹത്തിനിടയില്‍ ഐക്യം അത്യാവശ്യമാണ്‌. ഇന്ന്‌ എന്നല്ല, എന്നും എക്കാലത്തും മുസ്ലിം സമൂഹം ഐക്യത്തിന്‌ വേണ്ടി കൊതിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്‌. അതിനാല്‍, വിവിധ മുസ്ലിം വിഭാഗങ്ങള്‍ക്കിടയില്‍ അനുരജ്ഞനം നടപ്പില്‍ വരേണ്ടതുണ്ട്‌. പക്ഷേ, സത്യത്തിലുള്ള ഐക്യമായിരിക്കണമത്‌. അതുമാത്രമാണ്‌ നമ്മുടെ ലക്ഷ്യം. അല്ലഹുവിന്റെ പാശത്തെ നിങ്ങള്‍ ഒറ്റക്കെട്ടായി മുറുകെ പിടിക്കുക എന്നാണ്‌ അല്ലാഹു ഖുരാനില്‍ പറഞ്ഞത്‌. ഇവിടെ ദീനിനെ ഒരു കയറിനോട്‌ ഉപമിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. നന്മയുടെ, സത്യത്തിന്റെ ദീനാണത്‌. ദീനും ദീനല്ലാത്തതും കൂട്ടിക്കലര്‍ത്തിയുള്ള ഐക്യം ഖുരാന്‍ ആഹ്വാനം ചെയ്യുന്നില്ല. യഥാര്‍ഥ ഐക്യം വിശ്വാസം നിലനിര്‍ത്താനും വിശ്വാസികള്‍ക്ക്‌ ശക്തിയേകാനുമായിരിക്കണം. അതുകൊണ്ട്‌ സത്യത്തിലുള്ള ഏകീകരണം ഇന്നെന്നല്ല, എക്കാലത്തും അത്യാവശ്യമാണ്‌.
