Hum Dil de chuke!
15 November 2008CE | 15 Dhul-Qadah 1429AHI had a fascinating Biology class today. The topic in discussion was the Heart transplant and other cardiac related issues. Many students asked questions about what they knew and what they didn’t. The teacher replied satisfactorily.
In one reply, she said that research was being undertaken for transplanting the pig heart for a human one. But she also noted that human body has the tendency to reject an external agent, whether a speck of dust or a lump of flesh. So transplants were not always successful. This heavy traffic of medical data being transmitted around brought into my mind the title of a Bollywood movie entitled, “Hum dil de chuke sanam!” (I have already given my heart out, dear)
They say, love is blind with respect to reason. But doesn’t medical science and romance make a good combination, especially in this case?
On a serious note, only the Greatest Cardiologist of all times, the Doctor of Humanity could utter this revolutionary statement:
‘Beware! There is a piece of flesh in the body if it becomes good (reformed) the whole body becomes good but if it gets spoilt the whole body gets spoilt and that is the HEART.’
How magical are the words of the Beloved Prophet !
Sallallahu ala Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wa sallam….
