ഇസ്ലാമികവൽകൃത കലകൾക്കു പുറമെ ഇസ്ലാമിക മൂല്യങ്ങളോടെയും തന്മയത്വത്തോടെയും പിറവി കൊണ്ട കലാരൂപങ്ങൾ ധാരാളമാണ്‌. ഇസ്തംബൂളിലെ അയാസോഫിയയും ഡെസിഫോണിലെ സസാനിയൻ പാലസും ഇസ്ലാമിക കലയുടെ മൂർധന്യദശ പുൽകുമ്പോൾ മദീനയിലെ മസിജ്ദുന്നബവിയും ബഗ്ദാദിലെ അബ്ബാസീ പാലസും വീക്ഷണത്തിൽ അതിതുംഗപദത്തെയാണ്‌ പ്രതിനിധീകരിക്കുന്നത്‌. മൗലികതയും ഭാവപ്പകർച്ചയും വ്യത്യാസമാണിവിടെ. രണ്ടും ദൈവികപ്രോക്ത ആശയങ്ങളുടെ സംഗമനിലമെങ്കിലും പരിശുദ്ധിയുടെ പിന്നാമ്പുറങ്ങളിൽ വിവേചനത്തിന്റെ സാധ്യതകളുണ്ട്‌.

ഏതെങ്കിലുമൊരു സുപ്രഭാതത്തിൽ പൊട്ടിവീണതോ ഒരു സമഗ്ര സഞ്ചിതരൂപമായി അവതരിച്ചതോ അല്ല ഇസ്ലാമിക കല. കാലനൈരന്തര്യത്തിനിടെ, ഊർജ്ജിതവും മൂല്യവത്തുമായ അന്വേഷണ-ഗവേഷണ-വീണ്ടുവെപ്പുകളിലൂടെ ഉടലെടുത്തതാണിത്‌. അവതരണപശ്ചാത്തലത്തിലെ സമൂഹം നാഗരികതയുമായി ഇതിന്‌ ബന്ധമുണ്ട്‌. ഒരുപക്ഷേ, കാഴ്ചയിലും വിഗഹവീക്ഷണത്തിലും അവയുടെ ബാഹ്യസൗഷ്ടവം പ്രതിഫലിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തേക്കാം. പക്ഷേ, ആത്മാവിന്റെ പുനഃപ്രവേശനമാണിവിടെ നടക്കുന്നത്‌. അതിഭൗതികതയുടെ ഊർജ്ജം സന്നിവേശിപ്പിക്കപ്പെടുകയാണ്‌. അഥവാ, ചില കാര്യകാരണങ്ങൾക്കധീനമായാണ്‌ ഇസ്ലാമിക കല രൂപപ്പെടുന്നത്‌.

വിശ്വകലാ ചരിത്രത്തിലെ ഒരു നവോത്ഥാനമായിരുന്നു ഇസ്ലാമിന്റെ രംഗപ്രവേശത്തിലൂടെ സംഭവിച്ചത്‌. അന്നേ വരെ ലോകം അറിഞ്ഞതും ദർശിച്ചതുമായ കലാസമ്പ്രദായങ്ങളെ ആമൂലഗ്രസ്തം മാറ്റിമറിക്കുന്നതായിരുന്നു ഇത്‌. ആകാര സൗഷ്ടവത്തിലുപരി ആത്മികതലങ്ങൾക്കാണിവിടെ പ്രാധാന്യം. ശൈലിയും രീതിയും ആരുടേതായാലും ഉപരിപ്ലവതയുടെ ദൈവിക ചമൽക്കാരമാണിവിടെ. കൂടാതെ, സത്തയിൽ സന്നിവേശിപ്പിക്കപ്പെടുന്ന അതിന്ദ്രീയ ചാതുരിയും അനിർവചനീയമായ വശ്യതയും ഇവിടെ പ്രകമാകുന്നു.

ഭൗതിക ദർശനങ്ങളുടെ ബഹുലതക്കു മുമ്പിലാണ്‌ ഇസ്ലാമിക കല രൂപപ്പെടുന്നത്‌. സമീപിക്കുന്നതിനെല്ലാം സൗന്ദര്യം ദർശിച്ച്‌ ആത്മികത പകരുന്ന ഇതിന്റെ രംഗപ്രവേശം തീർത്തും വിസ്മയാവഹമായിരുന്നു. അഗ്നിയാരാധകർക്കോ ത്രിത്വവാദികൾക്കോ ഉൾക്കൊള്ളാനാവാത്ത വിധം ദീർഘവീക്ഷണത്തോടും വിമലീകരണ ബോധത്തോടും സംവിധാനിക്കപ്പെട്ടതായിരുന്നു ഈ മാറ്റം. കലകളെ സംബന്ധിച്ചിടത്തോളം പാരതന്ത്ര്യത്തിന്റെ കൂച്ചുവിലങ്ങുകളിൽ നിന്ന്‌ സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യത്തിന്റെ ശാദ്വലതയിലേക്കുള്ള ന്യായമായ പ്രവേശനമാണിത്‌.

ആത്മാവിന്റെ അന്തർഗതങ്ങൾ

ദ്രഷ്ടാവിന്‌ സ്രഷ്ടാവിനോടുള്ള വിധേയത്വമേറ്റുന്നവിധം സ്വന്തത്തെക്കുറിച്ച അവബോധം നൽകാൻ ശക്തമാണ്‌ ഇസ്ലാമിൽ കല. മനുഷ്യന്റെ ആത്മപരതയും ബുദ്ധിപരതയുമായി കെട്ടുപിണഞ്ഞുകിടക്കുന്ന ഇത്‌ ധിഷണാശാലികളായ ശിൽപികൾ ദൈവത്തിലേക്ക്‌ തീർത്ത നൂൽപാലങ്ങളാണ്‌. ആത്മസംഘർഷങ്ങളുടെ നടുത്തളത്തിൽ വ്യഥപൂണ്ട്‌ ഉഴറുന്ന മനുഷ്യനെ നിർവൃതിയുടെ നിതാന്തത്തയിലേക്ക്‌ ആനയിക്കുകയാണ്‌ ഇവ ചെയ്യുന്നത്‌. നിരൂപണാത്മകത എന്നതിലുപരി സുകൃത്യബോധവും അനുസരണമനോഭാവവുമാണ്‌ ഇവിടെ ഒരു വിശ്വാസിയുടെ കൈമുതൽ.

തനിമ തുളുമ്പുന്ന നാഗരികതയുടെ ഏറ്റവും ലഘുതരങ്ങളായ സംവിധാനങ്ങളാണ്‌ കലാരൂപങ്ങൾ. സങ്കര സംസ്കാരങ്ങളുടെ കണ്ണാടിയെന്ന്‌ പലരും വിശേഷിപ്പിക്കുന്ന ഇത്‌ വസ്തുക്കളുടെ ഒരനുപമ ശ്രേണിയെയാണ്‌ ദ്രഷ്ടാക്കൾക്കു മുമ്പിൽ കാണിക്ക വെക്കുന്നത്‌. അഥവാ ഹ്രസ്വതയിലെ വാചാലത തരളിതമാവുകയാണിവിടെ. ഒരു സാക്ഷാൽ കലാകാരന്റെ മനോഗതങ്ങളാവട്ടെ, സംവേദനത്തിന്റെ നൂതന മുഖങ്ങൾ സാധിച്ചെടുക്കലാണ്‌. അതിനാൽ ഭാവാത്മകവും കലാപരവുമായ സമീപനങ്ങളായിരിക്കും ഈ വൃത്തത്തിൽ പ്രക്ഷുബ്ധതയുടെ ഹേതുക്കൾ.

ധാർമികവും അധാർമികവുമുണ്ട്‌. നല്ല അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ചീത്ത സംസാരം പോലെ. എഴുത്തിലും മൂല്യവും അശ്ലീലവുമുണ്ട്‌. മാനുഷിക നന്മക്ക്‌ മഹത്തായ സന്ദേശമാകുമ്പോഴെ കല ധാർമികമാവുന്നുള്ളൂ. അവയിലെ ദൈവികതയും മഹാത്മ്യമുള്ളൂ. പൊതുതലത്തിൽ ആരോഗ്യകരമായ ചിന്തകളും ദർശനങ്ങളും അനുവാചകരിൽ സൃഷ്ടിക്കുന്നതവയാണ്‌.

കല മതത്തിന്റെ പക്ഷത്ത്‌ നിന്നാകുമ്പോൾ മൂല്യവും സദാചാരവും നിഴലിച്ചോ മുഴച്ചോ നിൽക്കുന്നു. നന്മയുടെ പ്രചാരണമാണ്‌ മതങ്ങളുടെ ലക്ഷ്യം. അത്‌ കൊണ്ട്‌ സ്വാഭാവികമായും മതാചാരങ്ങളുടെ ഭാഗമായ കലയും ധാർമികതയുടെ മാനുഷിക നന്മയുടെ, പുരോഗതിയുടെ, ആത്മീയതയുടെയൊക്കെ ഭാഗമാവുന്നു. മറ്റൊരു വിധത്തിൽ പറഞ്ഞാൽ, കല മതത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗമേ ആകാവൂ. ലോകത്തിന്റെ പാരമ്പര്യവും സംസ്കാരവും പറഞ്ഞു തരുന്നത്‌ അത്തരമൊരു മനോഹര ആശയക്കൈമാറ്റ രീതിയാണ്‌… Dr. MK Muneer
