Conceived by popular art director and journalist Sadeesh Chalippadam, the promos would be telecasted on Kerala-based Jeevan TV on Thursdays at 3.30pm India.

To commemmorate Iqbal Day (NOV. 9), JAIHOON.TV showed a special show on the thoughts of the greatest Muslim Philosopher of 19th century. Mohammed Zaheeruddin, President of Iqbal Academy Hyderabad, elaborated Allama Iqbal’s views on the progress of Self in the light of Sura Ikhlas, a chapter of Holy Quran.

JAIHOON.TV Literary Award Presented

In what turned to be a trend-setting move, the first ever literary competition organized by an online channel concluded with the presentation of prizes for winners of the “JAIHOON.TV Literary Award’. Based on the topic, “Religion & Spirituality in Era of Globalization”, the competition had entries from various corners of Kerala. The topic was chosen in the wake of the recent controversial incidents which rocked Kerala’s socio-religious landscape.

‘JAIHOON.TV’ offers video commentary of Holy Quran in Malayalam for first time on the internet. Ladies at homes and men at their workplaces can study Quran conveniently. The most important aspect is that each week a certain segment of not more than 20 minutes can be seen. This ensures that viewers get enough time to see each part attentively. Also, previous segments are not removed and thus can be seen anytime from anywhere.
