US sees Muslims as enemies, says Sabri

Kozhikode, March 21: The US which kills Muslims and attacks Islamic countries is the ral terrorist in the world and the American declaration of a war on terrorism is just a farce, said Dr. Ekrima Saeed Sabri, grand mufti of Jerusalem, who was here to participate in the convocation ceremony of the Jamiya Nooriyya at Pattikad n Malappuram district.

He told Express here on Monday, that the US Government, which demolished the Communist world, is now targeting Islam because it sees Mslims as enemies.

There has not been any let up in the Zionist onslaught on the people of Palestine. Israel had been saying that the late Palestine leader Yasser Arafat was the perpetrator of violence. “But even after his death Israel has no scaled down its attacks on our people,” he said.

Outwardly Israel is creating an impression that it is for peace. But at the ground level things have not changed. “ They want us to be subservient to their rule and we are not ready for that. There has not been any genuine move for peace from their part” he said.

The ties between India and Palestine have strengthened under the UPA Government. “it is like the days of Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi,” he said.

Dr. Sabri is the orator of Al Aqsa Mosque and Chief of Scholars and Preachers’ Organization. A scholar in various fields, Dr. Sabri has authored a number of books on Islam.
