Reading “THE COOL BREEZE FROM HIND” was actually an other worldly experience. We very rarely come across such books, that make us question our entire existence. As a matter of fact, we gravitate towards the materialistic pursuits, completely blinding ourselves in admiring the vast beauty and miracles of Khudrat (nature) that is right before us. But again, “Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder”. And I must say, you have, with every precision, mastered the art of invoking the senses of your readers. Along with you, the readers too had the fortune of experiencing the grandeur of the rains of Hind, the majestic Coconut- minaret scene, the fragrance of petrichor and every single emotion. The example of Cheraman’s Ginger pickle, is an anecdote of historical & spiritual consciousness for generations to come.
There are vivid streaks of patriotism & that’s an example of how our religion emphasizes tolerance & brotherhood. The ‘Thattu kada’ is the real essence of India.
No country can replicate its aura. In Bangalore, there are ‘Annachi kada’, used to refer to the vendor from Tamil Nadu. From the start to finish, it was a resplendent treat. What an impressive way to conclude, “He is my haal & maqaam, my faqr & Ishq, my Miraaj & Sidrat, my Kawthar & Jannat”!!
