1. ഇന്ത്യയിൽ പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്ന കമ്യൂണിസ്റ്റ്‌ പാർട്ടികൾക്ക്‌ അംഗത്വം നേടുന്നതിന്‌ അവരുടെ ഭരണഘടന പ്രകാരം മതവിശ്വാസം പ്രശ്നമല്ല. ആ നിലക്ക്‌ കമ്യൂണിസ്റ്റ്‌ പാർട്ടികളിൽ തങ്ങളുടെ മതവിശ്വാസത്തിന്‌ ഹാനിയാകാത്തവിധം മുസ്ലിംങ്ങൾക്ക്‌ അംഗമാകാവുന്നതാണ്‌. ഇന്ത്യയിൽ ഹസ്രത്ത്‌ മെഹാനി തുടങ്ങി പല മുസ്ലിം നേതാക്കളും പാർട്ടി അംഗത്വം സ്വീകരിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്‌.
2 . യൂസുഫ്‌ ഖർളാവിയുടെ ഫത്‌വയെക്കുറിച്ച്‌ ഞാൻ പഠിച്ചിട്ടില്ല. ഖർളാവി കേരളത്തിലെ ഭൂരിപക്ഷ മുസ്ലിം നേതൃത്വവുമായി യൊജിക്കുന്ന ആളുമല്ല. മുസ്ലിം ലീഗിനോ ഭൂരിപക്ഷ മുസ്ലിംകൾക്കോ ആ ഫത്‌വ ബാധകമാവുമെന്ന്‌ തോന്നുന്നില്ല. ഖർളാവിയെ കേരളവുമായി പരിചയപ്പെടുത്തുന്നത്‌ ജമാഅത്തെ ഇലാമിയാണ്‌. അദ്ദേഹം ലോകത്ത്‌ അറിയപ്പെടുന്ന പണ്ഡിതനാണ്‌. എന്നാൽ ലോകത്തെ പാരമ്പര്യപണ്ഡിതവിഭാഗം അദ്ദേഹത്തെ അംഗീകരിക്കുന്നില്ല. സാമ്രാജ്യത്വത്തോടുള്ള അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ നയങ്ങളോടും പലരും യോജിക്കാറുമില്ല. ഇങ്ങനെയൊക്കെയായാലും കമ്യൂണിസ്റ്റ്കാരെക്കുറിച്ച്‌ അദ്ദേഹം പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചു എന്ന്‌ പറയുന്ന ഫത്‌വ യഥാർത്ഥ കമ്യൂണിസ്റ്റ്കാരെ സംബന്ധിച്ചാണെങ്കിൽ അത്‌ ശരിയല്ല എന്ന്‌ പറഞ്ഞുകൂടാ. കമ്യൂണിസം അടിസ്ഥാനപരമായി ദൈവനിഷേധമാണ്‌ മുന്നോട്ട്‌ വെക്കുന്നത്‌. ഒരു വിശ്വാസിയെ സംബന്ധിച്ചിടത്തോളം ദൈവനിഷേധവുമായി പൊരുത്തപ്പെടാനാവില്ലെന്നതിന്‌ കുടുതൽ ചിന്തിക്കേണ്ട കാര്യമില്ല. ഇത്തരം യഥാർത്ഥ കമ്യൂണിസ്റ്റുകൾ കമ്യൂണിസ്റ്റ്‌ പാർട്ടിയിൽ ഉണ്ടെങ്കിൽ ഒരു ദൈവനിഷേധിയോടുള്ള ഇസ്‌ലാമിന്റെ സമീപനം തന്നെയാണ്‌ അവരോടും സ്വീകരിക്കേണ്ടത്‌. ഇസ്ലാമിക നിയമങ്ങളിൽ കമ്യൂണിസ്റ്റുകാർക്ക്മാത്രം ഇളവനുവദിക്കാൻ വയ്യല്ലോ. യഥാർത്ഥ കമ്യൂണിസത്തെപോലെ യഥാർത്ഥദേശിയതയും ദൈവനിഷേധമാണ്‌ പ്രഖ്യാപിക്കുന്നത്‌. ദേശീയതയെ അടിസ്ഥാനമാക്കിയുള്ള നാഷണൽ കോൺഗ്രസ്സിൽ ദൈവനിഷേധികളായ ദേശീയ വാദികൾ ഉണ്ടെങ്കിൽ അവരോടും മേൽ പറഞ്ഞ നയം തന്നെയാണ്‌ സ്വീകരിക്കേണ്ടത്‌.
ഈ ഫത്‌വയെ മുസ്‌ ലിം ലീഗുമായി കൂട്ടിക്കെട്ടേണ്ട കാര്യമില്ല. ഫത്‌വകൾ മത പണ്ഡിതന്മാരുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ടതാണ്‌. ന്യുനപക്ഷങ്ങളുടെ സംരക്ഷണത്തിന്‌ വേണ്ടി പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്ന ഒരു പാർട്ടി എന്ന നിലക്ക്‌ ഇന്ത്യൻ സാഹചര്യത്തിൽ ലീഗിനത്‌ അംഗീകരിക്കേണ്ടതില്ല. വ്യക്തികൾക്ക്‌ ഇഷ്ട്ം പോലെ ചെയ്യാവുന്നതാണ്‌.
3 . സി.പി.എം. ന്യുനപക്ഷ സംരക്ഷകരാണെന്ന്‌ തീരുമാനിക്കേണ്ടത്‌ അവരുടെ നയങ്ങളുടെ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിലാണ്‌. മുസ്ലിം ലീഗുമായി ഭരണം പങ്കിട്ട കാലത്ത്‌ മാർകിസ്റ്റുകളടക്കമുള്ളവർ ന്യുനപക്ഷത്തിന്‌ വേണ്ടി ശബ്ദിക്കുകയും കോൺഗ്രസ്സിന്റെ ശക്തമായ എതിർപ്പുകൾ വകവയ്ക്കാതെ മലപ്പുറം ജില്ല അടക്കമുള്ള ആനുകൂല്യങ്ങൾ അനുവദിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ട്‌. മുസ്ലിം ലീഗുമായി ശത്രുതയിലായപ്പോൾ ലീഗിനോടുള്ള രോഷം പലപ്പോഴും സമുദായത്തിന്‌ എതിരായിഭവിച്ചു. സംവരണകാര്യത്തിലും ശരീഅത്തിന്റെ കാര്യത്തിലും കമ്യൂണിസ്റ്റ്പാർട്ടി എടുത്ത തീരുമാനങ്ങൾ പലപ്പോഴും ഭൂരിപക്ഷ വർഗ്ഗീയ പാർട്ടികളെ സന്തോഷിപ്പിക്കും വിധത്തിലായിരുന്നു. ഇപ്പോൾ മുസ്ലിംങ്ങളോട്‌ അനുവർത്തിക്കുന്ന സമീപനത്തിന്റെ പൊരുൾ കണ്ടറിയേണ്ടതാണ്‌.
മുസ്‌ ലിം ലീഗ്‌ അവസരത്തിനൊത്ത്‌ ഉയരുകയും നയവ്യതിയാനങ്ങളുള്ളത്‌ തിരുത്തി എല്ലാ മുസ്‌ ലിം വിഭാഗങ്ങളെയും പരിഗണിക്കുകയും ന്യൂനപക്ഷ താത്പര്യങ്ങൾ സംരക്ഷിക്കുന്നതിന്‌ വേണ്ടി എല്ലാം മറന്ന്‌ രംഗത്തിറങ്ങുകയും ചെയ്തില്ലെങ്കിൽ നഷ്ട്ം ലീഗിന്‌ മാത്രമായിരിക്കില്ല. സമുദായം ഇടതുപക്ഷത്തിന്റെ പിന്നാലെ പോകേണ്ട ഗതികേട്‌ വന്ന്‌ ചേരുകയുംചെയ്യും. ഈ വിപത്ത്‌ മനസ്സിലാക്കി ഒരു പുത്തൻ നവോത്ഥാനത്തിന്ന്‌ പാർട്ടി ഒട്ടും താമസിക്കാതെ മുന്നോട്ട്‌ വരേണ്ടതാണ്‌.
അറബി ഭാഷക്ക്‌ വേണ്ടിയും ശരീത്തിന്റെ സംരക്ഷണതിന്‌ വേണ്ടിയും രക്തസാക്ഷിത്വം വരിക്കാൻ തയ്യാറായ മുസ്ലിം ലീഗ്‌ തങ്ങളുടെ കഴിഞ്ഞ അഞ്ച്‌ വർഷത്തെ ഭരണം വിലയിരുത്താനും സമുദായത്തിന്‌ വേണ്ടി എന്തുചെയ്യുന്നു എന്ന്‌ വിചിന്തനം നടത്താനും തയ്യാറാവണം. നരേന്ദ്രൻ കമ്മീഷൻ റിപ്പോർട്ട്‌ നടപ്പാക്കുന്നതിൽ ഭരണം വരെ ത്യജിക്കാനുള്ള സാഹസം പാർട്ടി കാണിച്ചേ തീരു.
4. മാർക്ക്സിസ്റ്റ്‌ പാർട്ടി മതത്തെ അടിസ്ഥാനപരമായി അംഗീകരിക്കാൻ മടിക്കുന്നവരാണ്‌. മതത്തിന്റെ സ്വാധീനം ഇല്ലാതാവുമ്പോഴേ പാർട്ടിയുടെ നില ഭദ്രമാകൂ. അതാണ്‌ സൽമാൻ റുഷ്ദി, തസ്ലിമ തുടങ്ങിയവരുടെ കാര്യത്തിൽ പാർട്ടി മുസ്ലിം വിരുദ്ധ നിലപാട്‌ സ്വീകരിക്കുന്നത്‌. മുസ്ലിം പാരമ്പര്യത്തോട്‌ ഏന്ത്‌ പ്രതിബന്ധതയാണ്‌ മാർക്ക്സിസ്റ്റ്‌ പാർട്ടിക്കുള്ളത്‌. ശരീത്ത്‌ നിലനിർത്തുന്നതിനുള്ള മുസ്‌ ലിം ബഹുജന മുന്നേറ്റത്തിൽ തീർത്തും പെയ്ന്തിരിപ്പൻ നയമാണ്‌ ആ പാർട്ടി സ്വീകരിച്ചതു. ഇക്കാര്യത്തിൽ ഒരു കാലത്ത്‌ കോൺഗ്രസ്സിലെ മുഹമ്മദലി ചഗ്‌ ളയുമായും ഹമീദ്‌ ദല്വായിയുമായും കൂട്ടുകൂടാൻ കമ്യൂണിസ്റ്റുകാർ മടിച്ചില്ല.
ചുരുക്കത്തിൽ ന്യൂനപക്ഷത്തിന്റെ സംരക്ഷണം മുസ്‌ ലിംങ്ങളല്ലാത്തവരെ ഏൽപ്പിക്കുന്നത്‌ പലപ്പോഴും വിപരീത ഫലമാണ്‌ ഉളവാക്കുക. മുസ്ലിം ന്യൂനപക്ഷത്തിന്റെ ശബ്ദ്മെന്ന നിലക്ക്‌ ഇന്ത്യയിലെ മുസ്ലിം സമുദായത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗദേയം നിർണ്ണയിച്ച മുസ്‌ ലിം ലീഗ്‌ ശക്തമായി നിലനിൽക്കുകയാണ്‌ സമുദായത്തിന്റെ ആവശ്യം. അതിന്‌ മുസ്ലിം ലീഗ്‌ പുതിയ നയപരിപാടികൾ രൂപീകരിക്കുകയും നയവ്യതിയാനങ്ങളിൽ നിന്ന്‌ തിരിച്ചു പോരുകയും വേണം. മുസ്‌ ലിം വിഭാഗങ്ങളെ ഒരേ ചരടിൽ കോർത്തിണക്കി സമുദായത്തിന്‌ തണലേകുന്ന ഒരു വടവൃക്ഷമാകാൻ പാർട്ടിക്ക്‌ സാധിക്കട്ടെ.
Communism puts forward Atheism

According to the constitution of the Communist parties in India, religion is not a matter of consideration for the membership of the party, so in this way Muslims can become a member in it without hurting their religion. In India, including Hasrat Mohani, many Muslim leaders have taken membership.
I have not studied about the fatwa given by Yousuf Qardawi. Qardawi is not a person who is in line with the Muslim leadership of Kerala. Neither for Muslim League nor for majority of the Muslims will this fatwa be of any significance. Qardawi was introduced to Kerala by Jamath Islami. He is a well-known scholar worldwide but other traditional scholars do not accept him. Many do not accept his policies regarding Imperialism.
Despite, the fatwa that is said to be proclaimed by him against the communists cannot be ignored if it is against the real communists. Communism is basically putting forward atheism. As far as a believer is concerned, atheism is something which he cannot tolerate and requires no second thought.
If such real communists are there in the Communist party, then the approach towards them should be like that of the approach of Islam towards an atheist. We cannot afford to have flexibility in the Islamic laws for communists alone. Like the real communism, true nationalism also proclaims atheism. Taking nationalism as the base, if in National Congress there are atheists, the above said ruling is applicable against them also.
This particular fatwa is not connected with Muslim League. Fatwas are related to religious scholars. As a party functioning for protecting the interest of the minority, Muslim League need not accept it in the Indian context.
3. Whether or not CPM is the protector of the minority sector is to be decided based on their policies. When they shared the rule with Muslim League, people including Marxists have raised support for the minorities. When they became in enmity with the League, many a times the anger towards Muslim League had a negative impact on the community. The decision taken by the Communist party in the matter of reservation and Shari’ah in most cases was pleasing the major communal parties. Their intention behind the recent policies towards the Muslim community is yet to be known.
If Muslim League does not live up to the expectations of the Community it represents and does not amend their policies in such a manner that all Muslim groups are considered and if it does not come forward for protecting the interests of the minority, then not only will it damage the League, but also force the community to follow the atheist Left. Realizing this disaster, the party should come forward with a new vision.
Muslim League, which sacrificed for Arabic language and for the protection of the Sharia, should be ready to analyze their last five years rule and rethink what they are doing for the community. The party should not even hesitate to give up the role in government for implementing Narendra Commission report.
4. Marxist Party basically hesitates to accept religion. The party would become strong only when the influence of religion is eliminated. That is why in the matters of Salman Rushdi and Taslima, the party took a stand against the Muslims.
Fateful Irony : Dr Hussein Randathani, the author of above piece, was nominated as the Independent candidate of the Left Democratic Front at the Ponnani constituency for the Parliamentary Election 2009!

Randathani is capable of creating history inthe Muslim World ,if he goes on thinking boldly. The Muslim World can expect a break throug into the modern world ; a re-birth into the world in par with the rest of it . Scribbled after his article in the Deshabhimani ,a Malayalam Daily .
Mr. Hussain Randathani actually is not showing justice to his words. By knowing all these reality ie, helping communism is anti religion, he should not support the party like a talented leader like K.T.Jaleel,who left Muslim League only for power. When he visited UAE he asked the KMCC leaders (the overseas organization oof the party) to give him a sure seat to legislative assembly.
Husain Randathani, a good historian, must not be a candidate of enemies of religion. Because of him many good religious people are taking Marxism as a political party only. He is responsible for that. The real believer can never be a Marxist. To justify his support to LDF, he is mentioning about the formation of Malappuram District . This is not the example of Marxist support to the muslims. Previous Muslim leaders who fought against Brittish, like Umer Qazi, Mampuram Thangal Ali Musliar etc. were Muslim leders ,not communists.

I agree with Randathani’s comments ‘ communism’s stronger when religion gets weeker. At the same time, it is good for him to think that Communists are utilizing him to weaken the religion.

If Randathani had trust in his own words how can he be a candidate of Communist party. It is really a stunning contradiction but to oppportunists like Randathani who forgets past and present and all genuine realities before the onrush of conjuring up temptations.
These somorsaults are not surprising but while it will be at the expense of our community? It is deeply saddening and condemnable, anyhow if he had a little time to read his own article on communism and its dangerous consequences.
And whatever may be the reason, it does not make sense to a common Mappila Muslim to believe just for the pretext of Muslim League’s deterioration, to side with atheists who are all set to corrode the values cherished by religions.
