Mujeeb Jaihoon’s poem on the silent suffering and unwavering hope that blossom in the face of unrequited love
Deliverance from Solitude
After suffering through years of solitude, a seeker pleads for the sweet honey of Affinity to be poured into their heart.
How much? The Beloved much!
O Rabb, how much?
To thank and praise You
How much should
My gratitude fetch?
Why Love me so much?
If I fail to give you the same in return
I fear His Justice will bring the hell-burn
O Tasbih! Pray to your Merciful Rabb
Like yours, may my heart always in love rub
Love, A Flower too Grand for Earth
